The Serpent is a Machine Pistol exclusively for Grenadier.

Strategies

Due to it's high mobility, tight spread and high DPS this weapon is great for run and gun.
Increasing the range with the Weapons expert perk allows you to use the gun more effectively in mid range, as well as increasing your overall damage per second.
